When you live in a climate like New England, you know that your warm-weather season is short lived. For all its beauty, this area of the country does not have great weather. But all that’s behind us now. Summer is in full swing, and we’ve been taking full advantage.

Which has meant a little more time outside, a little less time in front of the computer. Hence my radio silence.

From DC, Maine and New Hampshire to Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, we’ve put a few miles on our cars, our bikes and our feet.

Maine was moody

Nantucket was a class act

And the Cape gave us the 4th of July at its finest

We’ve even been exploring in our own back yard. Which has quite the view.

And squeezing in some snuggle time

All the while, we’re prepping for our big trip to climb Kilimanjaro this fall.

Visas and sleeping bags acquired – proper fitness training regimen still needed…
