Rooftops of Paris

fabrice_moireau_3I gave my mom a copy of the book Rooftops of Paris for her birthday recently, and I wish I had gotten a copy for myself as well.  The book is by illustrator Fabrice Moireau and writer Carl Norac and takes you across the skyline of the City of Lights.  We first saw it in Shakespeare and Company bookstore.  I’m totally in love with the illustrations.

Fabrice Moireau is such a wonderful illustrator.  Here are a few more examples of his work:

Watercolor is such a difficult medium to master, but when it’s done well I think it’s more beautiful than oils. Fabrice most definitely does it well.
