I’ve fallen in love with the French brand Kilometre.Paris after reading about them in a travel magazine. The founder, Alexandra Senes, found a lot of vintage white dress shirts at the marché aux puces in Paris. She bought the lot and had the shirts embroidered with far-flung and up-and-coming travel destinations. The brand has now grown beyond the original vintage lot and many of the new shirts are made in India, with the embroidering done in Mexico. Each shirt is sold with a travel guide to the location it showcases. Such a cool idea.
They’ve also launched a collection of pillows with textile designer Judy Ross
Love the look of their branding and website, too. Just a cracking design success all around.
